Every Horse Deserves Safety
Shelter isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity.
At Conesco, we believe every horse deserves a durable, secure space to rest, recover, and retreat from harsh weather. We design our shelters to provide year-round protection from the sun, wind, rain, and snow. Thanks to durable recycled steel and thoughtful craftsmanship, each shelter is built to provide long-lasting safety, comfort, and peace of mind.
Not a "light-duty" Kit
This is heavy duty pallet racking steel, designed to be durable and strong!

The Conesco Difference
Over-Engineered to Withstand the Elements
Wall System
We use 3″ x 3″ industrial steel posts anchored directly into the ground with concrete. While standard sheds use only 3 horizontal beams, ours features 5 horizontal steel beams for maximum rigidity and “kick-proof” strength.
Roof System
7 steel beams support each roof section. More anchor points for the roofing means it is quiet inside when the wind blows, no scary metal on metal noises!
The Finish
Premium “Max-Rib” steel siding. Available in the custom color of your choice to match your existing property.
A Shelter with a Mission
The Origin Story:
Our design wasn’t born in a factory; it was perfected at the Honor the Horse Foundation. What started as a budget-conscious prototype evolved into an industrial standard through three generations of builds on a working horse rescue. We didn’t just guess what a shelter should look like—we evolved our design to be “horse-tested” and indestructible.
The Partnership:
We believe in giving back. For every shelter sold, we donate $100 directly to the Honor the Horse Foundation to support equine rescue and care.

Gallery: The Evolution
The Prototype
Our first-ever build proved the concept: industrial pallet racking outperforms traditional timber frames, even on a tight budget.
The Refinement
In our second version, we optimized the assembly process and enhanced weatherproofing based on real-world performance.
The Perfected Model
The final evolution. This unit features our signature 5-beam wall and 7-beam roof system—the ultimate standard in equine safety.
Frequently Asked Questions
We’re here to make your decision easier by providing clear, expert-backed answers to help you choose the right system.
What is the difference between racking and stacking?
A 10 x 12 foot shelter will accomodate a single horse. Each additional 10ft section can accomodate 1 or 2 more horses, depending on the herd dynamic!
Can I customize the layout with tack rooms or feed storage?
Absolutely! Our shelters are designed to be modular and highly customizable. You can add tack rooms, feed storage areas, or other functional spaces to meet your specific needs. Whether you need a small feed room or a full tack and grooming area, we can adjust the layout to fit your property and your workflow. Just let us know your requirements — we’ll help you design the perfect setup.
How durable is the repurposed frame in harsh weather?
The all steel frame is 14 gauge steel and 3 inch square posts. It can handle anything nature throws at it!
What is the typical lead time for delivery and installation?
In most cases the entire process from consultation to finished install can be completed in 30 days!
What type of foundation or ground prep is needed before installation?
We can install the shelter on a leveled pad, or we can install with minimal ground prep and let the shelter follow the slope of the land.
